Review Of: "The Search for Magic" by DeAnna L. Terry

Nine-year-old Tarc has found himself thrown into a very perplexing world of enchantment, secrecy, and chaos. Shortly after being taken in by the very mysterious man named Dillan, Tarc discerns that he is no run of the mill lad. He was born into humanity for the solitary principle of stopping the malevolent Wizard from pilfering all of the enchantment and obliterating the whole supernatural world.

On his twelfth birthday, he obtains the bequest of a dragon’s egg. This is no commonplace dragon egg, although. It is the final egg of the previously prevailing dragon head, Corrina and it has waits un-hatched for many centuries, in anticipation of the coming of its selected one. Upon emerging, Tarc shapes a very sole living union with the dragon, named Jaden.

His adventures carry him deep into the supernatural world where he must bring back together all of the miraculous families. Before he can complete this task, he must foremost establish the preceding of the dragons that barely escaped the Wizard’s control many years prior. During his passage, Tarc meets a very extraordinary girl named Lily. Together they soon learn that their futures are disheveled. Lily unites with Tarc and Jaden as they go on with their hunt for the dragons. They ascertain that she has some clandestine of her own to contribute.

This Magnificent Journey can be summed up with One twelve letter word, S.P.E.L.L.B.I.N.D.I.N.G. ……

Tarcsam a/k/a "Tarc" starts out living a very rough life and goes through horrible nightmare of seeing his mother killed over his special talents. He is approached by a wizard that his mother knows who wants to see if he’d prefer living somewhere else. He goes to magic school, and while there he’s discovered as "the chosen one". He learns of dragons, unicorns, mermaids and all the magical creatures involved in the magical realms. Tarc gets a dragon and names her Jaden. He instantly bonds with her through his magical talents. He learns of portal traveling. He meets up with ogres and elves alike. The story continues with all the mystical events you’d expect from a magical story.

The Search for Magic’ by DeAnna L. Terry, is a very detailed and self-sufficient book on the magical worlds and creatures one would expect in a story of magic.

The premise of magic, wizards, mermaids, ogres, unicorns and elves, are present throughout the book.

I was amazed at the details as I read this wonderful story.

I believe it to be appropriate for all ages to understand,follow and enjoy.

I truly enjoyed the entire story.

She’s a magical artist with prose in writing a magical story!
